OUR MISSION.
FOOTY FACTORY aims to cultivate a player’s performance by promoting physical, technical, tactical, and personal progress. The purpose is to develop a fully evolved human being, which is achieved by teaching the values of pursuing a purpose with conviction and integrity — principles that breed success in sport and all of life.
Our first-rate coaching staff is dedicated to building a mentoring relationship with each player, enabling us to provide the correct level of motivation and support to maximize their potential, as well as modify sessions and feedback to meet their individual needs. It’s this personal connection between teacher and student that energizes player development.
FOOTY FACTORY's mission is "To IDENTIFY, DEVELOP, and PROMOTE the Talents of Tomorrow."
IDENTIFY • Pinpoint strengths and weaknesses through observation, self-assessment, match analysis and training progression.
DEVELOP • Harvest the seeds of growth with a diligent devotion to targeted, deep practice.
PROMOTE • Navigate the peaks and valleys of sport and life through a steady stream of guidance and direction.
OUR HISTORY.
Originally conceived in 2013, FOOTY FACTORY began as an idea for a world-class, soccer-specific training facility complete with fields, courts, gym, sand, track, shop, locker rooms, bar, and lounge — along with a European-style footballing institution to call it home. Founder, Sean Afkhaminia, inspired this vision from a shortage of available resources to nurture a natural ability he grew up with. Lacking a guiding figure to teach him, counsel him, believe in him, he took matters into his own hands. North Texas Soccer is widely regarded as a talent hotbed in America, yet individual player development did not exist. It’s this feeling of lack that became the main driving force behind what the organization has ultimately become, longing to provide the tools and the platform for the next generation to profit from.
FOOTY FACTORY, LLC was legally registered in the state of Texas on January 27, 2014 and became the first full player development training organization to enter the market in DALLAS, TX. In year one, more than 100 youth players had experienced a training event and two full-time coaches were brought on board. Over the course of the next five years, FOOTY FACTORY slowly established a reputation for consistently taking in beginners and systematically producing elite-level players. By 2019, the vision was practically fulfilled, having grown into a proper club and community — complete with grassroots camps and clinics, an intensive school of excellence, along with youth academy teams all feeding directly into a first team at semi-professional level for both men and women. At this point in time, the FOOTY FAMILY had encompassed thousands of players, parents, coaches, trainers, and administrative staff from all walks of life.
In early 2020, COVID-19 caused a global pandemic which forced businesses of all shapes and sizes to shut down. The longevity and brand power of FOOTY FACTORY, however, grew stronger than ever throughout this period. Time away from normal activity opened space for a change in perspective, which encouraged the organization to move with the market and get back to the heart of growing the game through the individual. At the start of 2021, FOOTY FACTORY was reintroduced as solely a player development training organization, offering in-person and online programming. By removing branded teams and any club affiliation, the business was better streamlined for success and the company became much more focused on its mission of making a positive impact on players/coaches all over the world.
After 10 years, the organization has influenced an entire generation in the North Texas Soccer community — with many, many players having roots in FOOTY FACTORY programs and academy teams now competing at the highest levels in the area. In 2024, FOOTY FACTORY celebrated its 10th anniversary by opening its second physical location in AUSTIN, TX — with a full team of coaches ready to make an equally measurable impact on the South Texas Soccer community.
For the future, FOOTY FACTORY aims to create a network of independent player development coaches around the world all operating collectively with a singular vision for the holistic manner in which players should be developed. The long term objective is to build a brand that inspires future generations towards personal success on a global scale, one player/coach at a time. This will be achieved by a commitment to building relationships and offering the highest quality of training and education — online and face to face.
